YUMM

YUMM - the celebration of taste

1. Eco-friendly ambience

Our restaurant’s interior design combines elegance with environmental responsibility. We’ve selected materials that are both stylish and sustainable:

Reclaimed Wood: Much of our furniture is crafted from reclaimed wood, giving it a unique character while reducing the demand for new resources.

Eco-Friendly Paints: We use low-VOC (volatile organic compound) paints and finishes that improve air quality and minimize harmful emissions.

Energy-Efficient Lighting: Our LED lighting not only enhances the atmosphere but also reduces energy consumption and lowers our carbon footprint.

The Essence of Freshness

Farm-to-table isn’t just a trend; it’s a return to the essence of good food. Our ingredients are sourced from local farms, often harvested within hours of reaching our kitchen. This immediacy means that fruits and vegetables are at their peak ripeness and flavor. Imagine tasting a tomato that has just been picked or enjoying a salad made from greens harvested that very morning. This freshness is the key to the vibrant flavors and nutritional quality of our dishes.

Country-style cooking is a heartwarming and comforting culinary tradition! It's all about hearty, homemade dishes that evoke a sense of warmth and nostalgia. Here are some interesting aspects of country-style cooking

Floor wise dining

1st Floor - COOL ZONE

Happiness can definitely be found in enjoying deserts and smoothies! There’s something about treating yourself to a delicious dessert or a refreshing smoothie that can really lift your spirits. Desserts often come with a sense of indulgence and celebration, while smoothies can be a delightful, healthy way to satisfy a craving.

For many, the joy comes from the sensory experience—tasting something sweet, creamy, or fruity—and the positive associations with sharing treats with friends or family. Plus, preparing or picking out your favorite desserts and smoothies can be a fun and rewarding activity in itself. What kind of desserts or smoothies make you happiest?

2nd Floor (A) - TEA and COFFEE

Tea can be a wonderful source of enjoyment and relaxation. There’s something quite soothing about the ritual of preparing and sipping a cup of tea. The warmth of the liquid, the aroma of the leaves, and the variety of flavors—from robust black teas to delicate green teas, herbal blends, and fruity infusions—can create a comforting and pleasurable experience.
Tea can also serve as a moment of mindfulness, giving you a chance to pause, reflect, and savor the present moment. Whether you’re enjoying it alone for some quiet time, or with friends and family as part of a social gathering, tea can enhance the experience through its calming properties and the opportunity for meaningful conversation. What’s your favorite type of tea or tea-drinking ritual?

Happiness in having coffee often comes from the comforting routine of brewing and sipping it, the rich flavors and inviting aroma, and the energy boost it provides. It’s also a chance to connect with others over a shared cup or enjoy a quiet moment of relaxation. Whether you savor it alone or with friends, coffee can offer a delightful pause in your day.

2nd Floor (B) - BREAKFAST

South Indian breakfast is celebrated for its vibrant and diverse flavors, offering a delightful start to the day. Typical dishes include dosa, a crispy rice and lentil crepe often served with sambar (a spicy lentil stew) and coconut chutney, and idli, soft steamed rice cakes that pair perfectly with these accompaniments. Other favorites include vada, a savory fried lentil doughnut, and upma, a spiced semolina porridge. The meals are usually light yet satisfying, featuring a blend of spices and ingredients that create a harmonious balance of taste and texture. Enjoyed with a hot cup of filter coffee, South Indian breakfast provides a nourishing and flavorful beginning to the day.

3nd Floor -  SOUPS STATERS and MAIN COURSE

In South Indian cuisine, soups, starters, and meals are rich in flavors and diverse ingredients. Soups, such as rasam, are tangy and spicy, made with tamarind, tomatoes, and a blend of spices, often enjoyed for their warming and digestive properties. Starters include crispy vada (lentil fritters) and samosas, which are popular for their crunchy textures and spicy fillings. For the main meals, South Indian fare features a variety of dishes like sambar (a hearty lentil stew), vegetable curries, and rice served with an array of sides such as coconut chutney and pickles. Meals are typically balanced, combining aromatic spices with fresh vegetables and legumes, and are often completed with a refreshing serving of buttermilk or yogurt.

4th Floor - SNACKS

South Indian snacks are a delightful array of flavors and textures, offering something for every palate. Popular options include samosas, crispy pastries filled with spiced potatoes and peas; pakoras, which are vegetables or meats dipped in a spiced gram flour batter and deep-fried; and murukku, a crunchy, spiral-shaped snack made from rice flour and spices. Chivda (or poha), a savory mixture of flattened rice, peanuts, and spices, is another favorite. Pesarattu, a green gram pancake often enjoyed with ginger chutney, and banana chips, which are thinly sliced and fried plantains, also make for satisfying munchies. These snacks are often enjoyed with tea or coffee, making them a perfect accompaniment to social gatherings or as a quick treat throughout the day.
